Since I've been gone...

Well hello there!  It has been such a very long time since I put fingers to keyboard and got bloggy here - I have rather missed it but haven't had the energy for much over the last few months.  It's not just my blogging that has taken a temporary leave of absence; I've not been getting stitchy half as much as I'd like.  The ideas have kept on coming, but translating them into reality has rather suffered in favour of collapsing on the sofa of an evening with such (I am embarrassed to admit) TV horrors as Made in Chelsea and Gossip Girl.  Damn you 4OD and Netflix!

In between the rubbish TV, I have managed to run up a few projects, so I thought I'd use this post to share with you some of the more constructive things I've been shunning the Chelsea-ites and Upper East-siders for...

First up, some woodland(ish) themed name bunting for a baby Eponine (what a beautiful name!)...

A little bunting banner made for some twin babies (who are just about to turn 1 - this was a loooong time ago!)...

A stitchy Curlew for my parents' Christmas Present...
A climate change valentine...
You can find out more about the climate change valentines here...

Some birdy notebooks...
Name bunting for young Sam...
And last but not least, a Gin Pennant for my friend over at Gillian Jones Designs who ran a rather fantastic charity Gin Festival in her garden a few weeks ago...

...One of the finest traditions of the Royal Navy I think, and I shall definitely be making one of these for our camping trips next year.

There have been a couple of other stitchy/crafty bits, but I shall share those with you in another post.  In the meantime, oh it feels good to be back!!
